The purpose of the Valley Shepherd church library is to provide reading, listening, and viewing materials that communicate biblical values and encourage Christian growth.
We wish to provide you with a comfortable location to sit and read, listen to a tape, or preview a video. The library is located behind the church office in the Sunday School area. For your convenience, it is open any time the church is open and uses a self check-out system. Should you need assistance, the library is staffed on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Come in and check us out. We add to our selections nearly every week.

Information
Book club
There are two book clubs available:
- 1:00 p.m. on the second Monday of the month, location TBD (contact church office for details)
- 7:30 p.m. on the third Monday of the month at Valley Shepherd library
We read a variety of topics that include fiction, nonfiction, biography, mystery, seasonal, and classics. Anyone can recommend a book to read. We try to make our book selections two months ahead of schedule to make obtaining the books easier. We are a “not-too-structured” club and like to discuss the book and “like topics” that may come up.

Multimedia
Come check out our wide variety of multimedia titles.
There are videos and music for the whole family. We have VHS, DVD’s, CD’s, and audio books. Our selection is growing with additions being made almost every week. Some of your favorite books and authors might be available here.
Donations
Many library materials come from generous donations from our patrons. This gives the Library the ability to offer you a better selection of books, videos, tapes, DVD’s, and CD’s. If the items needed are not donated, purchases are made with donated funds. So monetary donations are also welcome.
We accept all material donations and if our library can not use them, we trade with other libraries or used book stores. Sometimes the items are also donated to the women’s shelter, jails, or other ministries. No donation goes to waste.
