Events

The Fall Retreat is one of the major events of the year for women at Valley Shepherd.

The Fall Retreat is held at Trinity Pines Campground in Cascade, Idaho. There are special speakers of various ages and walks of life to share with us, laugh with us, cry with us, and lead us to a closer walk with God. It is open to any women who want to attend.

Two of the fundraisers Women’s Ministries holds are the Spring Tea and Holiday Home Tour. These events are held every other year. The Home Christmas Home Tour will be held in December of 2009 and the Spring Tea will be held in the spring of 2010. Our previous tours and teas have been great opportunities for fellowship and outreach.

We also have a Secret Sister program. We are having our reveal get-together on Monday, March 9, 2009 from 7:00-8:30 pm. We will be taking names for ladies 18 or older who would like to be a secret sis for the next year. All About Me forms are due by March 15, 2009. Alice Stanley is the Secret Sis coordinator.

Other events are scheduled throughout the year.
