Tyler -

I am a firefighter in Boise. I attend at Meridian First Baptist Church. I have participated in the past with the Upward ministry opportunity at your location. I am a believer in Jesus Christ and rely only upon him for my salvation based upon his life, death, burial and resurrection! Amen! My children will be attending Mountain View HS in the next 1-3 years. About two years ago I met Rock Brown. He told me then, as it is now, that there is still no Lauch Pad site at MVHS! I have met with Rock over the last several weeks. I feel a burden on my heart that God is calling me to be actively involved with providing a site at MVHS. I do not know what it will look like or where it will be, But this I know...if God wants it to happen, IT WILL; regardless if I am involved or not. But, if God does what it to happen, I do not want to be on the sidelines! I am seeking an opportunity to meet with you and share what God has been placing on my heart. I am certain that there are youth within your congregation that do or will attted MVHS. I believe in the power of prayer. If families and youth are aware of this ministry opportunity, more people will know and thus more people will pray!

I like your bog. I have prayed to God how he wants me to be involved in the 'harvest'. I desire to provide a field for God. I believe that this one opportunity for me (and others) to participate. I patiently await for your reply. God bless you and may He keep you in His good graces.

In Christ,

Brent

Thank you Pastor for this most excellent message and for the way that God is working through you to bring blessing and healing to those in need. The children's message really resonated with our kids as well. We talked about the importance of honoring our father and mother and that when we do this and do our part within the family, there is less tension and our home is a happier place to be. We are praying daily that God will equip us to be the kind of people (mom, dad, brother, son, ...) that God would have us be in both character and service. We are also praying for those individuals and families we know that are struggling or fighting against God and his plan for their lives. Thank you for being a vessel to deliver God's grace and message of love for the family.

Thanks, Pastor, for another wonderfulmessage inspired by the Holy Spirit. Even reading it without benefit of the Spirit in the service it was a very real spiritual experience.
I know I seem to constantly have to ask the Holy Spirit to change my inward responses to some of the daily stresses and my outward response to Ralph. I am aware of these things and I am sure I have blind spots and do not see may other things that need a real makeover.

Tyler, I was so pleased to read your blog today! This morning in the devotional I use for Ralph and I to have daily devotions, the scripture was from John 14 starting with the 15th verse, 'If you ove me,you will obey...'
Ithought your answer to your cousin was very good. We have to go to the Word and keep sensitive to his leadings if we are to continue sensing that leadership.
I only one other time went into our website. The Lord must have wanted me to see your blog. It is good to sense your heart and will help me to pray for you more effectively.
Keep challenging our teens (including our Suzi) to take the high road. With the culture they are facing, they will need a close walk with God to withstand the pressures of this day.
All of us, at any age, need a close relationship with Him.
