Tyler, I was so pleased to read your blog today! This morning in the devotional I use for Ralph and I to have daily devotions, the scripture was from John 14 starting with the 15th verse, 'If you ove me,you will obey...'
Ithought your answer to your cousin was very good. We have to go to the Word and keep sensitive to his leadings if we are to continue sensing that leadership.
I only one other time went into our website. The Lord must have wanted me to see your blog. It is good to sense your heart and will help me to pray for you more effectively.
Keep challenging our teens (including our Suzi) to take the high road. With the culture they are facing, they will need a close walk with God to withstand the pressures of this day.
All of us, at any age, need a close relationship with Him.

I remember meeting these sixth graders at Vacation Bible School last summer. It was fun getting to know them, over the course of this last year and it is kind of bittersweet watching them move onto something that will hopefully just be a continuation of what God has destined for their lives.

I look forward to seeing them mature in Christ as they grow up.

That is exactly the topic that has come up a couple of times when some of at church decide to actually sit down and talk about what's going on, and not just "How's your kids?" sort of stuff. I, and others, are praying for a fire to be lit. Woo! Just thinking about it gets me excited!

Great thoughts Casey... Way to put things in perspective. Can you imagine what the world would look like if those of us who called ourselves followers of Jesus, were actually excited about His mission? I tell you what, this world would look a lot different.

Amen! Patience is of utmost importance in every part of our lives. Praise God that He is so patient with us and is so gracious with us in our faults! He is wonderful.
