Hi! I’m Pastor Tim, the Senior Pastor of Valley Shepherd Church. While I’ve only been around here since November 2007 (the church’s first day in our new building!), I’ve been in full-time ministry since 1980. My wife Cindy and I started out in ministry with 5 years in California, then 17 years in my home state of Ohio (serving 2 different churches), then 6 years in Kansas City. We’re thoroughly enjoying Idaho and the Northwest!—and love our church family here! Cindy and I have three young-adult kids—scattered in Ohio, California and Idaho—and two recently-added “in-laws”!
Those who know me well know that at the core of my being is a great love for people—something I believe the Lord cultivated early in my life. My greatest joy in ministry is seeing lives change by the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.
I’m a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Some call me “Dr. Pusey”…but I really prefer just “Pastor Tim.”
